I really do mean to post more every day, but the hectic pace of my life lately has been a deterent. So here i go trying to make another push with blog postings.

I’ve been getting out and attending a number of phillies games recently. Tonight will be my third in 7 days (if the rain holds off) and I’m looking forward to finally seeing Gavin Floyd pitch. I know the kid has been having some problems lately, but I’ve been real excited about him since he came up late 2 years ago and I’ve been excited ever since. With the recent call-up of Cole Hamels Floyd is gonna have some more pressure on him to produce, and I’m hopeing he can step up and fill that spot in the rotation. Hamels coming up is way exciting. I’ve been talking to my friends (non phillies fans of course.. those bastards) about Hamels for over a year now so I hope he dosent dissapoint. I’m trying to convince the wife to let us leave for VA after friday’s game so I can see Hamels pitch vs the reds this weekend. That would be the hotness..

On a side note I’m wearing contacts today and it is awfully wierd. my left eye is going well, but my right eye has been struggling a little bit. The contact in my right eye is supposed to help correct my astigmatism, so it’s not spherical and has some wierdness to it. But it still just feels uncomfortable. I’ve been told it takes a little bit to get used to them and I hope that is what I’m going through now. I’m getting a bit of a headache from it.. but.. snakes on a plane.
