I conqured the leaky pipes.. I replaced some, retightened some. lots of teflon tape. I am the champion.

On the flip side I watched “Engineering an Empire” last night. Very cool show. They show how Rome and Egypt built their largest jawns. Like the Collesuem and the Pyramids. One thing I never knew was that egypt built some kick ass fortresses. Very similar in design to the fortifications in medievel europe. Pretty nifty stuff.

I’ve been thinking about a certain Jefferson quote alot lately:
“Happiness is not being pained in body or troubled in mind.”

I want to be happy.. but things seem to keep conspiring to make life as stressfull as possible.

It’s nice being home with T and being able to do some housework occasionaly. I think I might tackle redoing one of the bathrooms this weekend now that I’m on a home repair kick. Wheee!
