Hey!!

I’m currently in Seattle for the Microsoft Hosting Summit. HMS sent me and 3 others out here. Only 3 of us actually made it out due to Matt getting the flu.

The flight was a mess. Was delayed 3 hours, and then the flight had to stop in Spokane to refuel. First time I’ve ever seen that happy. Lets hope the flight back goes better.

We ended up getting in really really late, like 2 am Seattle time, like 5 am EST! But here we are and we’re having a blast so far.

The hotel is super nice, The Bellevue Westin and the food has been good so far. The mixer was kinda lame. But I’m just not much of a social person. Lots of geeks and computer people. Mostly men, but not surprising. There was some women. But not lots.

Tomorrow the conferencey stuff will actually start. which is nice! I was worried I would be underdressed, but I was right in the middle with my nice shirt and dress pants. There were suits, and jeans and t shirts. So I was good. Tomorrow HMS dress shirt with a sweater should be good.

We went out to some bars tonight. They were all pretty empty! We ended up playing pool at an empty pool hall, I’m horrible at pool. Mo was just as bad, erik had some skills…. Still fun tho!
