I just realized I never posted anything about my ongoing battle with my pipes.

In Feburary we had an incident involving a leaking polybutylene pipe from the upstairs bathroom in my house. This caused some severe damage to our dinning room ceiling as can be seen below:

The resulting call to the plumber resulted in the following hole in our living room and a $500 pipe repair bill.

2 months and $3,000 dollars later the hole is gone, and all the polybutylene pipes along with it. We had a plumber come out and replace all of our water supply pipes. This resulted in even more holes throughout the house, but a fuzzy feeling of having invested loot in our house.

Along the time frame of this leak and repair there was also an incident involving some trim on my house, as well as a broken heater. Lots of house frustrations, but above all, the Bogarts persevered. Death to the opposition!!!! … err pipes.
